The Senate has established the Stars of Valor Fellowships Program for wounded and disabled veterans; family members of Armed Forces servicemembers who die in the line of duty or veterans who die of service-connected injuries; and spouses of active-duty servicemembers. The SAA is managing the program, and the fellowship will be in Rockville, MD.

Qualifications:
• Must be a wounded or disabled vetran with an Honorable or Under Honorable Conditions (General) Military Discharge within the past 5 years.
• A family member of an Armed Forces servicemember who died in the line of duty or family member of a veteran who died of service-connected injuries

Duties:
Specific duties will vary depending on the requirements of each Senate office. Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Working as a constituent services representative
• Helping constituents resolve issues with Federal agencies
• Serving as liaison to local Veterans Service Organizations
• Attending local events and meetings on behalf of the Senator
• Supporting the office’s legislative team
