Description:
FleishmanHillard’s Brussels office is seeking a public affairs and communications professional with 3–5 years of relevant experience, with a focus on financial markets and asset management policy, to support its Financial Services practice.- Manage and lead the implementation of public affairs programmes for market‑leading global accounts, working in close partnership with clients as a trusted advisor. - Support other members of our financial markets and asset management teams in servicing our client base in these sectors. - Assist in outreach to policy makers, stakeholders and the media. - Actively participate in broader office activities, including business development and people management.- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in EU financial services policy, capital markets and asset management, gained through work with EU institutions or national ministries of finance/regulators, consultancies or in‑house in a financial services organisation or association. - Excellent understanding of EU institutions, EU processes and political dynamics, with the ability to assess how regulatory developments impact financial markets and investment activities. - Strong business acumen and an appreciation of the commercial impact of policy decisions. - Proven project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple projects and campaigns for a portfolio of clients. - Strong advisory skills, supported by first‑class written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex regulatory developments into clear, actionable insights.
