Description:
Working under the supervision of the General Counsel, the Senior Corporate Counsel – Employment will primarily provide legal advice, guidance, and support to Premier’s human resources organization.Review and advise with respect to claims and enforcement of employment agreements and restrictive covenants, compensation documents, severance plans, and applicable procedures.Juris Doctorate (Required), Active Member of a State Bar
Responsibilities:
• Review and advise with respect to claims and enforcement of employment agreements and restrictive covenants, compensation documents, severance plans, and applicable procedures.
• Assist with the periodic review and update of onboarding documents for new employees, including offer letters, employment agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc.
• Assist with the periodic review of employee benefit plan documents and other benefit contracts as needed.
• Advise HR team on matters relating to new hires, transfers, and terminations of employees and with respect to temporary and contract labor, including background check process.
• Participate in the review and maintenance of the company’s Employment Policies and other related documents.
• Advise HR team on management of contingent labor and independent contractor programs.
Qualifications:
• 10 or more years of Applicable Experience
• Juris Doctorate (Required)
• Active Member of a State Bar
