Description:

Responsibilities:
• Research and provide analysis for regulatory issues impacting employer compliance and reporting across federal, state, local, and international payroll, tax, employment laws, wage and hour, paid leave, pay transparency, retirement benefit plans, and employee benefit plans.
• Accurately and effectively monitor upcoming legislative and regulatory changes that impact our industry, products, and services.
• As a subject matter expert, consult closely with Product, Product Development, Engineering, and other internal stakeholder teams to interpret regulatory requirements, advise on compliance implications, and support the creation of compliant product designs, specifications, and enhancements.
• Partner with Product and Development teams to translate legal requirements into technical specifications for the product suite, ensuring high-level compliance.
• Evaluate and respond to internal compliance help tickets and research requests; review relevant ordinances, regulations, legislation, and case law to help resolve issues and mitigate risk.
• Prepare clear internal and external communications to explain regulatory, legislative, and compliance changes related to HCM, Benefits, Tax, and Payroll processing.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years previous experience in payroll, employment, and human resources compliance, or tax compliance, or 1 year experience with an industry-related degree.
• Payroll & human resources knowledge preferred.
• CPP, SHRM-CP, or HRCI certification a plus.
