Description:
Director of Government AffairsLead and execute MACPA’s state and federal advocacy strategy, Monitor, analyze, and influence legislation and regulatory activity, Draft testimony, comment letters, and policy positions, Represent MACPA with legislators, regulators, and coalition partners, Partner with our legislative consultant during Maryland’s General Assembly session, Identify emerging issues and advise leadership on risks and opportunities5+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or advocacy, Strong understanding of Maryland’s legislative and regulatory environment, Exceptional writing, communication, and relationship-building skills, Ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable insights, Experience working with committees, boards, or member-driven organizations, Knowledge of the CPA profession or related fields is a plus
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
