Description:
The Account Executive plays a key role in the Public Affairs team through conducting research on policy events, drafting public-facing communications materials, assisting with social media campaigns, and attending client meetings.Develop and maintain general knowledge of legislation, public policy, and current events relevant to clients. Draft content including press releases, one-pagers, case studies, op-eds, website copy, social media, grassroots action alerts, and client reports.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience. Minimum 2–4 years of professional experience. Organizational skills and responsiveness while juggling multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain general knowledge of legislation, public policy, and current events relevant to clients.
• Draft content including press releases, one-pagers, case studies, op-eds, website copy, social media, grassroots action alerts, and client reports.
• Assist in the development of social media campaigns (organic and paid).
• Maintain active communication, interface, and coordinate with state field teams on specific client projects.
• Provide support for client events including event planning, vendor outreach, logistics, and event staffing.
• Simultaneously support client-facing projects as well as internal projects for FTP.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2–4 years of professional experience.
• Organizational skills and responsiveness while juggling multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with technological platforms including Microsoft Office Suite and major social media services.
• Ability to leverage social media platforms to advance key causes, issues, and advocacy initiatives.
• An eye for design and understanding of design tools such as Canva, HubSpot, WordPress, and SurveyMonkey.
