Description:
The Program Manager, Trade Compliance is responsible for leading and managing global trade compliance initiatives across Onboard Service.Develop, implement, and manage global trade compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to U.S. and international trade laws (e.g., EAR, ITAR, OFAC, customs regulations).Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and manage global trade compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to U.S. and international trade laws (e.g., EAR, ITAR, OFAC, customs regulations).
• Develop and implement a bonded storage strategy to optimize duty deferral, improve inventory control, and ensure compliance with customs regulations for goods stored in bonded warehouses.
• Monitor and interpret changes in trade regulations and assess their impact on the business. Ensure timely updates to internal policies and training materials.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Supply Chain Management, Delta Logistics Control Center) to integrate compliance requirements into business processes.
• Conduct trade compliance risk assessments and audits. Identify gaps and implement corrective actions to mitigate compliance risks.
• Oversee the execution of export/import documentation, classification of goods (HTS, ECCN), and maintenance of accurate trade documentation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
