Description:
The Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Regulatory Affairs Team is tasked with the CIB’s strategy for policy, engagements, and leadership on all regulatory policy initiatives affecting the CIB businesses in the US and global markets.Work closely with relevant team members from CIB Regulatory Affairs overseeing a variety of reporting and presentation development with a high standard of accuracy and timeliness. Arrange meetings related to regulatory advocacy, including suggesting agenda items, soliciting input from teams and partners, coordinating speakers, updating slides, and compiling meeting minutes.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 2+ years of relevant experience. Proven ability to learn complex topics quickly. Familiarity and interest in public policy, financial markets, and digital assets.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with relevant team members from CIB Regulatory Affairs overseeing a variety of reporting and presentation development with a high standard of accuracy and timeliness. • Arrange meetings related to regulatory advocacy, including suggesting agenda items, soliciting input from teams and partners, coordinating speakers, updating slides, and compiling meeting minutes. • Develop relationships with regional teams (EMEA and APAC) to ensure seamless coordination for CIB advocacy across the globe. • Provide backup support for Blockchain, Payments, and two other substantive markets issues. • Track ongoing advocacy success against the CIB priority items. • Coordinate periodic briefings for CIB Senior Leaders in their roles as board members for key trade engagements (SIFMA, ISDA, FIA, ABASA).
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • 2+ years of relevant experience. • Proven ability to learn complex topics quickly. • Familiarity and interest in public policy, financial markets, and digital assets. • Working knowledge of AI/LLM to allow for enhanced efficiencies. • Proven ability to interact with senior management.
