Description:
Lead the development and execution of Climate Solutions' legislative strategy to advance climate and clean energy policy in Oregon.Develop and execute a comprehensive legislative strategy, lead direct lobbying efforts, exercise strong political judgment, and provide strategic guidance to Oregon policy team.Experience in government and public affairs, ability to build trust-based relationships with policymakers, community leaders, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive legislative strategy to advance Climate Solutions' Oregon policy agenda
• Lead direct lobbying efforts with legislators, legislative staff, and executive branch officials
• Exercise strong political judgment to identify opportunities and risks, and adapt legislative strategy, messaging, and engagement tactics
Qualifications:
• Experience in government and public affairs
• Ability to build trust-based relationships with policymakers, community leaders, and stakeholders
• Strong political judgment and ability to navigate evolving political dynamics
