Responsibilities:
• Identify, pitch, and secure interview on-air opportunities for Post journalists
• Coordinate all technical and travel logistics
• Maintain and expand a deep “rolodex” of media bookers and producers
• Prepare journalists with topics, tough questions, and close the loop by providing links to the resulting interviews
• React instantly to breaking news cycles to offer expert interviews and perspectives
Qualifications:
• Experience: 3+ years in broadcast booking
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including pitching
• Sharp editorial instincts and a deep understanding of current events, politics and pop culture
