Description:
The Interstate Renewable Energy Council seeks a visionary leader to advance change at the intersection of clean energy, equity, and inclusion.Provide national and state leadership and expertise on IREC’s core regulatory policy issues: interconnection, grid modernization, energy storage, and the integration of EV charging infrastructure onto the grid.8+ years of work experience and familiarity with public utility regulation, distributed energy resource policy and technology, and state policy and advocacy

Qualifications:
• Graduate degree in energy/environmental policy-related fields
• Deep understanding of the electricity grid and U.S. energy system
• Expertise in DER interconnection policy and understanding of regulatory frameworks and stakeholders across states
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management and staff management
• Strong fundraising and development skills
