U.S. Senator Brian Schatz is hiring a legislative correspondent to focus on policy related to labor, government affairs, and judiciary issues.
Responsibilities:
include drafting constituent correspondence, conducting policy research, writing briefing memos, and meeting with constituents and stakeholders. This staffer will also assist with the senator’s work as a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee. Qualified applicants for this position will have exceptional writing, analytical, and organizational skills; work well as part of a team; and have an interest in public policy. Current and former residents of Hawaii are strongly encouraged
