Senator Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) is seeking a dependable, good-humored, detail-oriented, and highly motivated individual to serve as a Special Assistant/Driver/Body Person in the Washington, D.C. office. The candidate will be able to work independently, manage time efficiently, demonstrate impeccable judgment and discretion, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include driving the Senator, staffing the Senator at various on and off-campus events and official duties, assisting with scheduling duties, and aiding in a variety of administrative tasks in the office. This position requires the individual be available for extended and unscheduled hours (including nights, weekends and/or holidays). Additional duties as assigned. This is an entry level position.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have an impeccable driving record. The salary for this position is $64,226 annually, with benefits that include a federal student loan repayment option.
