Senator Eric Schmitt is seeking a Press Secretary to join his communications team. The Press Secretary will work closely with the Communications Director and the rest of the senior staff to advance the Senator’s legislative priorities, respond to media inquiries, and build strong relationships with national and state press.
Key
Responsibilities:
include identifying media opportunities, drafting interview prep and floor speeches, and responding to reporter inquiries. On the record experience is required for this role. This position will also coordinate with the digital staff to find innovative ideas to advance and grow the Senator’s digital footprint.
Previous Capitol Hill and/or relevant campaign communications experience is required.
