Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) seeks a Legislative Assistant to lead a portfolio covering foreign policy, defense, and related national security issues. This is a non-entry-level position supporting the Senator’s work within the Senate NATO Observer Group and related legislative priorities.
Responsibilities:
This role will serve as a principal policy advisor to the Senator on these issues, developing and advancing legislative initiatives; preparing high-level briefing materials for meetings, hearings, and CODELs; and providing strategic guidance.
Qualifications:
Prior Senate and relevant national security experience is strongly preferred.
