Description:
Senator Van Hollen is seeking a videographer to join our communications team. This role will work to capture, edit, and produce compelling video content for a variety of platforms and will handle technical aspects of video production, including videography, lighting, sound, and editing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating creative video content and will work closely with our communications team to bring the Senator’s message to life.
Responsibilities:
Primary duties will include, but not be limited to: delivering content that aligns with the Senator’s values; plan, shoot, and edit video content for a variety of platforms, and official communications; operate and maintain video cameras and other equipment to capture high-quality footage; set up and manage lighting and sound equipment to ensure clear, professional-quality audio and visuals; edit raw footage into finished video products, incorporating graphics, music, and other elements as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. They will also have proficiency with video/lighting equipment, audio recording, and Adobe Creative Suite.
