Description:
Senator Edward J. Markey (D-MA) seeks a Systems Administrator/Correspondence Manager (or Systems/Correspondence Coordinator, depending on experience) to provide technology support for DC and state offices, as well as support and manage the office’s correspondence program. Familiarity with the Voice constituent services system is a plus. Candidates with prior Capitol Hill experience are strongly preferred, but we welcome applicants with relevant skills and experience who demonstrate strong potential. Responsibilities and title will be aligned with the selected candidate’s background. The salary range for this position is $64,226 to $72,669 annually, with benefits that include a federal student loan repayment option.
Responsibilities:
Systems responsibilities include updating, maintaining, and providing support for hardware and software; maintaining an archiving process for electronic data; ensuring system security and staff compliance with Senate cybersecurity requirements; and serving as the point of contact for Senate support agencies on information technology issues. Correspondence responsibilities include overseeing or supporting the office’s correspondence system, including working with a team of Legislative Correspondents to ensure that all incoming mail is accurately responded to in a timely manner. This role may be filled at the Coordinator or Administrator/Manager level.
