Description:
Midwestern Republican Senator seeks a Legislative Correspondent to handle correspondence and policy support for national security, foreign affairs, and veterans issues. The ideal candidate must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment and as part of a collaborative team. Hill experience a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include managing and drafting constituent correspondence in assigned issue areas, conducting research and staying informed on legislative developments, meeting with constituents and interest groups, and assisting policy staff as required.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a proven ability to communicate well in writing, demonstrate attention to detail, have superior time management skills, as well as show exceptional analytical and research skills.
