Senator Van Hollen seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented Maryland-based Grants Coordinator & Constituent Services Representative. This position serves as a key liaison between constituents and federal agencies in supporting Maryland communities by facilitating access to federal funding opportunities and assisting constituents with federal agency casework involving small businesses, disaster relief, transportation and infrastructure, and other matters.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include coordinating grant-related activities by advising communities and organizations on accessing federal funding, preparing letters of support, tracking funding across jurisdictions, and handling a casework portfolio in accordance with office procedures. In addition, the individual may administratively manage the Baltimore office, represents the Senator at community events, and reports on grant funding and constituent concerns.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage confidential information with discretion, and the capacity to handle complex or sensitive constituent interactions with tact and diplomacy.
