Description:
Senator Chris Van Hollen is seeking a Deputy Digital Director to join his active communications team. This role will work alongside the Digital Director and Communications Director to manage the Senator’s social media and produce video and additional social media content. Qualified candidates should have experience in writing copy for & posting on social media platforms as well as capturing, editing, and producing compelling video content for a variety of platforms. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. They will also have proficiency with video equipment and the Adobe Creative Suite. Senator Van Hollen’s office primarily uses Canon cameras and Adobe Creative Suite.
Responsibilities:
Primary duties will include but are not limited to: editing and/or shooting video content for a variety of platforms, drafting content that aligns with the Senator’s values; and monitoring the Senator’s social media.
