Description:
The Office of Senator Mark R. Warner (D-VA) is currently accepting applications for our paid summer press internship in Washington, D.C. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of discretion and organization, pay close attention to detail, and have great interest in learning about media and politics.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include answering press calls, maintaining press lists, completing news clips, drafting written communications material, aiding in the creation and editing of social media copy and videos, and carrying out other tasks as needed. Candidates applying to this position should have a weekly availability of 24-40 hours.
