Senator Merkley’s Washington, DC office seeks a Legislative Correspondent to draft quality constituent letters within a deadline-driven system. Other
Responsibilities:
include policy research, legislative work, and scheduling support for the Foreign Policy Advisor. This position requires excellent communications and analytical skills. This portfolio handles foreign policy, veterans, and defense issues in support of the Senator’s work on the Senate Foreign Relations and Appropriations Committees. Qualified candidates should be motivated self-starters, highly organized, demonstrated strong writers, able to multitask, and eager to join a mission-oriented team that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
