Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is seeking a Rapid Response Director to join his Office.
Responsibilities:
The Rapid Response Director is responsible for placing stories in various media outlets, drafting social media content, fighting for fact-checks and corrections in media stories, drafting press releases, drafting statements for the press, and working with aligned coalitions to advance the Senator’s priorities. This position reports to the Communications Director.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have strong written and oral communication skills, sound judgment, and work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
