Description:
The Office of Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) seeks interns for his office in Washington, DC for fall 2026. The internship will run September 8th to December 4th, 2026. This internship program is designed for undergraduate students and recent college graduates. Delaware ties are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include answering phones, sorting mail, handling requests for flags and tours, and assisting legislative staff in research. Internship positions are full or part time.
Qualifications:
This position requires outstanding organizational abilities, strong communication skills, attention to detail, poise, flexibility, and an ability to prioritize in an extremely fast-paced office. Applications require a completed questionnaire, a resume, cover letter, and one brief (2-3 pages) writing sample related to your major.
