Description:
The Senate Democratic Strategic Communications Committee (SCC), chaired by Senator Cory A. Booker (D-New Jersey), seeks a Videographer and Long Form Editor to join the committee’s creative department. The position will be primarily responsible for creating video deliverables for the committee, including videography and editing.
Responsibilities:
Duties include: Overseeing camera execution for video-captured content. Operating cameras on priority projects while also coordinating camera assignments when applicable, equipment preparation, lighting approaches, and production support. Responsibility for editing polished long form video content.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate has proficiency in both vertical and full frame video filming and editing and an understanding of social media network platform requirements for video. Key skills include proficiency in operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, as well as editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Audition. Additional experience in color grading, and sound editing is preferred. Applicants must be detail-oriented, highly-motivated team players who are eager to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
