Senator Baldwin is currently seeking a Veterans Services Representative to work directly with constituents to resolve problems that they encounter with federal agencies and programs. This full-time position will also serve as the Senator’s in-state representative to the Wisconsin veterans and military communities and will brief the Senator and legislative staff on Veterans Affairs and military issues of concern in Wisconsin. The position is based in Senator Baldwin’s Milwaukee or Madison office, with an option for some telework.
Qualified candidates will have a strong knowledge of federal and state veterans' benefits, military programs, and the services available to veterans, servicemembers, and their families. They will also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrate a strong commitment to constituent service, and be able to navigate complex cases with professionalism and empathy.
