Description:
Reflection’s mission is to build open superintelligence and make it accessible to all.Engage with policymakers across Congress and the Executive Branch on Reflection AI’s priority issues, including national security, procurement, energy, infrastructure, and AI governance.7+ years of experience in-house, at a firm, or in government with a clear record of influencing legislative outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with policymakers across Congress and the Executive Branch on Reflection AI’s priority issues, including national security, procurement, energy, infrastructure, and AI governance
• Own the full lobbying cycle: identify targets, develop the ask, schedule and execute meetings, track commitments, and follow through to outcomes
• Monitor and engage on legislation, markups, and regulatory activity — providing real-time intelligence to leadership and flagging inflection points that require action
• Develop and execute advocacy campaigns in coordination with cross-functional partners
• Draft and deliver materials such as leave-behinds, one-pagers, testimony support, and other documents that make policy positions land on the Hill
• Advise leadership on political feasibility, legislative timing, and stakeholder dynamics — translating what’s happening into clear strategic guidance
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in-house, at a firm, or in government with a clear record of influencing legislative outcomes
• Active, trusted relationships with policymakers
• Technology policy experience strongly preferred
• Ability to learn technical subject matter quickly
• Sharp written and verbal communication — able to distill complex AI policy issues into a two-minute pitch or a crisp one-pager
• Exceptional judgement
