Description:
Manage the HSBC Political Action Committee (PAC), conduct research, draft written materials, and support the team’s government engagement activities.Manage the HSBC Political Action Committee (PAC), conduct research, draft written materials, and support the team’s government engagement activities.Relevant experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field, demonstrated interest in financial regulatory, economic and geopolitical issues, prior experience managing or supporting a federal political action committee.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the HSBC Political Action Committee (PAC)
• Conduct research, draft written materials, and support the team’s government engagement activities
• Coordinate activities, events, resources, and meetings, and manage internal and external stakeholders
• Provide administrative support, including preparing presentations, drafting reports, and supporting key documents
• Manage external relationships and service providers
• Attend trade association and other external meetings, and brief internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
• Relevant experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field
• Demonstrated interest in financial regulatory, economic, and geopolitical issues
• Prior experience managing or supporting a federal political action committee
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, suitable for executive-level audiences
• Ability to produce concise, accurate, and technical written materials, sometimes on very short deadlines
• Proficiency in desktop publishing, word processing, and newsletter programs
