Description:
DoorDash is hiring a proven Federal Affairs Associate to help shape our public policy strategy and execution, independently assist with integrated issue management campaigns, and build lasting and positive relationships with federal public policy stakeholders.Monitor, analyze, and synthesize legislation for senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Develop and build new internal processes to support the team and accelerate our impact.BS or BA from an accredited university. 3+ years of experience in Congress, the Administration, a federal agency, in-house, or a trade association working directly on federal public policy issues related to the app-based economy.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor, analyze, and synthesize legislation for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and build new internal processes to support the team and accelerate our impact.
• Effectively coordinate and execute tasks within multiple, complex public policy campaigns.
• Build and maintain personal connections that lead to lasting and trusted relationships with federal public policy stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• BS or BA from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience in Congress, the Administration, a federal agency, in-house, or a trade association working directly on federal public policy issues related to the app-based economy.
• Deep understanding of federal government relations and experience implementing workflows that support a government affairs team.
