Description:
Responsible for executing the day-to-day internal and external communications functions for INGAA and the INGAA Foundation.Develops and maintains familiarity with the interstate natural gas pipeline industry and the positions of INGAA on public policy issues. Plans and executes public communications programs to communicate pipeline industry positions to related industry groups, media, member companies, government, and the public.College degree in communications, marketing, or related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of communications, public relations, or related experience in a congressional office, federal agency, trade association, public affairs firm, or policy-focused communications role.
Responsibilities:
• Develops and maintains familiarity with the interstate natural gas pipeline industry and the positions of INGAA on public policy issues.
• Plans and executes public communications programs to communicate pipeline industry positions to related industry groups, media, member companies, government, and the public.
• Proactively engages with the media to advance the INGAA and INGAA Foundation mission.
• Manages INGAA's Communications Committee and the INGAA Foundation's Outreach, Workforce, and Leadership Committee.
Qualifications:
• College degree in communications, marketing, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of communications, public relations, or related experience in a congressional office, federal agency, trade association, public affairs firm, or policy-focused communications role.
