Responsibilities:
• Data‑driven assessments of national defense strategies and supporting programs with allies and partners. • Assessing threats and conceiving concepts to shape investments for future advantage against them. • Leveraging relationships across various organizations across the DoW and MITRE to bring forward innovative solutions. • Building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with customers and key stakeholders across the Army, OSW, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and allied/partner organizations. • Supporting critical sponsor goals and outcomes by on‑time delivery of high‑quality data‑driven technical products. • Working in partnership with individual task leads to identify and improve the quality of data‑driven technical products.
Qualifications:
• Experience working with Indo‑Pacific countries on defense matters, including security cooperation. • Extensive knowledge of Indo‑Pacific security affairs, especially the U.S.–PRC military balance. • Possess a broad network of U.S., allied, and partner security (uniformed and civilian) officials. • Able to articulate historical and likely future U.S. regional interests and knowledgeably speculate on allied/partner interests. • Experience leading projects and multi‑disciplinary teams. • Ability to build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
