Description:
Director, Industrial Strategy for Third Way’s Climate and Energy Program (CEP) will lead the organization’s work to shape and advance modern American industrial strategy focused on strengthening U.S. clean energy leadership and economic competitiveness, manufacturing capabilities, supply chain resilience, and strategic trade relationships.Leading CEP’s industrial strategy portfolio, developing a centrist industrial strategy, monitoring emerging trends, anticipating policy inflection points, managing Deputy Directors, providing direction on policy solutions, developing policy recommendations, overseeing written products, engaging policymakers and stakeholders, directing research and engagement, working with CEP leadership, overseeing initiative budgets, mentoring and developing staff, supporting fundraising and donor engagement, traveling domestically and internationally.Excellent management and verbal and written communications are a must for this position.
