Description:
HERA seeks a creative, highly organized, and globally minded Social Media Associate to support the growth, consistency, and impact of its digital presence.Develop, coordinate, and maintain a global social media content calendar, create compelling written and visual content, monitor engagement, and use analytics to strengthen digital strategy over time.2–4 years of relevant experience in social media management, copywriting, digital content creation, communications, advocacy campaigns, or related fields, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain a global social media content calendar aligned with organizational priorities, campaigns, events, advocacy work, and fundraising goals.
• Create and edit highly visual content that supports HERA’s written narratives and campaign goals.
• Monitor social media channels and support timely, thoughtful audience engagement.
• Track and analyze social media performance across platforms, including engagement, reach, audience growth, content performance, and campaign outcomes.
Qualifications:
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Demonstrated ability to create, adapt, and optimize content for major social media platforms.
• Familiarity with social media scheduling, management, analytics, multimedia, and design tools.
