Description:
The Political Affairs Lead plays a critical role in advancing GSK’s advocacy objectives by strategically managing and evolving the GSK Political Action Committee (PAC), grassroots, and related political engagement activities.Strategic Leadership & Integration, Engagement, Education & Communications, Compliance & Governance Excellence, PAC Operations & Program Management, Data, Reporting & Continuous ImprovementBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in political affairs, government relations, PAC management, compliance, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
• Align PAC strategy, activity, and investment with GSK’s government affairs and public policy priorities.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase PAC participation among eligible employees, with a focus on historically under-engaged segments.
• Maintain full compliance with all applicable federal election laws, FEC regulations, and internal GSK policies.
• Oversee day-to-day PAC operations, including contribution processing, disbursements, vendor management, and recordkeeping.
• Track, analyze, and communicate PAC performance metrics including participation, growth, engagement, and activity.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal election law, FEC regulations, and corporate PAC governance.
• Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional corporate stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, and project management skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to anticipate risk and identify opportunities for improvement.
