Description:
HJF is seeking a Communications Manager to develop strategies and implement tactics to expand HJF’s outreach and digital presence.Develop and project manage new and creative digital outreach and marketing campaigns for HJF and, potentially, for its customers.Bachelor’s degree in a communications-related field required. Five years of experience managing similar work settings may be accepted in lieu of educational minimums.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and project manage new and creative digital outreach and marketing campaigns for HJF and, potentially, for its customers.
• Maintain lists of publication citations for internal reporting and public website, and compile schedules of conference participation through publication tracking processes.
• Plan, implement, and maintain social media and digital outreach strategy and tactics for HJF initiatives, events, and other communication efforts.
• Create, curate, and manage online content via HJF-owned digital assets, including websites.
• Track and report metrics to measure and improve outreach efforts through surveys and other tools.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a communications-related field required.
• Five years of experience managing similar work settings may be accepted in lieu of educational minimums.
• Minimum eight years of related experience preferred.
• Prior experience within the DoD system preferred.
