Regulatory and Compliance Manager

• As a Regulatory and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with OSHA PSM standards, implementation and adherence to ATF, DOT, and DHS regulations, site security plans, and company business improvement standards. • Other duties include: • Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavior-based safety. • Ensure compliance with applicable HSEOE performance standards, objectives, and regulations. • Align with Business Excellence to identify and implement frameworks that reduce waste and improve quality, productivity, resource utilization, and safety performance within assigned departments. • Participate in weekly cross-functional metric reviews (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Regulatory Compliance, and Employee Morale). Facilitate and participate in analyses using 5 Why, Practical Problem Solving, and other root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies. Develop and implement resulting preventive and mitigating countermeasures. • Provide input to other members of management to optimize resources and capacity while meeting manufacturing efficiency, regulatory compliance, and site security objectives. • Plan regulated materials storage and manage inventory for raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products within the manufacturing plant. • Work collaboratively with Production, Material Control, and Site Operations to guide regulatory standards, regulated inventory management strategies, and PSM standards that ensure plant and process safety and regulatory compliance. • Build mutually beneficial relationships with external and internal auditors to maintain excellent compliance and reduce overall site risk. • Lead initiatives to reduce site risk and overall operational costs while maintaining compliance with applicable PSM, DOT, ATF, and DHS regulations, standards, and guidelines. • Participate in analyses of internal and external audit findings, reports, and citations resulting from non-compliance using 5 Why, Practical Problem Solving, and other RCA methodologies. Recommend and implement effective preventive and mitigating countermeasures.
