The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills, interest in the legislative process, resourcefulness, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Answering phones, researching legislative issues, drafting constituent correspondence, attending policy briefings and hearings, recommending legislation to the Representative, and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communications skills, interest in the legislative process, resourcefulness, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
