Description:
Congressman Christian Menefee (TX-18) is seeking a Legislative Correspondent to take primary responsibility for drafting responses to constituent outreach on a wide range of policy issues.
Responsibilities:
Managing a high-volume constituent mail program, researching, and drafting all constituent correspondence, managing legislative team and intern correspondence drafting, maintaining a proactive constituent outreach operation, tracking and reporting on constituent correspondence, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication skills, sharp attention to detail, and be a team player with a positive attitude. Prior Capitol Hill experience and Texas ties are preferred. Familiarity with IQ, Fireside or comparable constituent relationship management systems strongly preferred.
