Description:
The Democratic staff of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is seeking an experienced communications professional to join a fast-paced and proactive press office.
Responsibilities:
Drafting and editing press materials on a wide range of in-depth policy issues, overseeing media relations for the office, conducting interview prep, and preparing long form remarks.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a Capitol Hill, campaign, federal agency, or comparable press operation, along with a record of building state and national media relationships, and on-the-record experience.
