Description:
The Office of Representative Val Hoyle (OR-04) is hiring a creative and motivated part-time Press Intern to work in her Washington, D.C. office.
Responsibilities:
Assisting in drafting social media content, including creating graphics and editing videos; Compiling daily news clips; Assisting in drafting press releases, monthly newsletters and other written materials; Closely follow issues important to the Congresswoman on social media; Assist with photography and filming; Helping to maintain press lists; Clipping committee remarks and cable hits; Assisting with front office and administrative operations; Answering phones; Leading tours of the U.S. Capitol
Qualifications:
A strong interest in political communications and experience creating high quality graphics, videos and written products.
