Description:
Supports the comprehensive communications, media, and digital strategy of the Office to promote the Member's policies and priorities.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the comprehensive communications, media, and digital strategy of the Office to promote the Member's policies and priorities; Working with the Communications Director to identify new ways to engage with press and digital audiences; Assisting the Communications Director in drafting press releases, advisories, talking points, newsletters, social media content, digital graphics, and other materials; Assisting with writing and designing innovative social and digital content, and video editing; Staffing the Member for press events, interviews, and other events as assigned; Monitoring and compiling daily press clips, traditional media coverage, and social media engagement and metrics.
Qualifications:
Strong writing skills, experience with video and graphic design, and an interest in traditional and digital media strategy. Relevant digital or social media experience is preferred.
