Description:
The Office of Congressman Kweisi Mfume (MD-07) is seeking to hire a motivated, detail-oriented, current college student or recent graduate wishing to gain Capitol Hill internship experience in an exciting Washington, DC office.
Responsibilities:
Answering phones, communicating with constituents, researching legislation, assembling briefing binders, generating engaging content for the Member's official social media pages (including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), drafting eNewsletters, and assisting with various tasks at the discretion of the Office Team.
Qualifications:
Must be able to work at least 30 hours a week to be eligible for a competitive stipend and monthly transit benefits. District and Maryland ties are highly preferred.
