Description:
Congresswoman Lori Trahan is looking for someone genuinely obsessed with reaching people where they are — on their phones, in their feeds, in the places traditional political communications go and especially where they don't.
Responsibilities:
Own the office's digital strategy and content across Instagram, X, Facebook, Bluesky, YouTube, email, the website, etc. Draft the weekly newsletter and other direct constituent communications Turn legislative wins, committee moments, and district stories into content that lands Track performance and adjust accordingly Assist with fielding media inquiries, build press relationships, and support proactive and rapid response strategy Staff DC press events, interviews, and podcasts Help prep Lori for media appearances Collaborate with legislative, district, and scheduling staff on rollouts
Qualifications:
2-4+ years in political, campaign, or advocacy communications. Hill and/or media experience strongly preferred. Massachusetts or New England ties a plus. Health policy or E&C issue background a bonus.
