Description:
The Office of Congressman Wesley Bell (MO-01) is seeking an organized Legislative Correspondent in his fast-paced Washington, D.C. office.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing and maintaining an organized constituent management system. Researching and drafting constituent correspondence on a wide range of legislative and policy issues with attention to detail. Ensuring that responses to constituents are clear, accurate and completed in a timely manner. Interacting with constituents with professionalism and responsiveness. Working closely with the Communications Team to handle the office's 499 program. Tracking metrics by producing weekly for the mail program. Assisting the Legislative Team with policy research and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Exceptional research, writing, proofreading, and communications skills are essential. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments. Previous Hill experience is not required but preferred. Familiarity with IQ is strongly preferred. Ability to collaborate and work with a team. Missouri state ties are a plus.
