Description:
The Office of Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legislative Intern to work in her Washington, DC office for the Fall 2026 term.
Responsibilities:
Answering constituent phone calls, Providing tours of the United States Capitol, Attending policy briefings and meetings, Conducting legislative research to support the needs of the Congresswoman's staff, Other tasks as assigned by the Legislative Director or Chief of Staff

Ideal candidates will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, commitment to public service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Candidates with Virginia ties are strongly encouraged to apply.
