Description:
The press intern will work closely with the communications team.
Responsibilities:
Answering telephones, leading Capitol tours, compiling daily press clips, creating content for social media, drafting press releases, newsletters, and other written materials, maintaining press lists, clipping floor and hearing remarks; and designing graphics.
Qualifications:
Strong writing and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple competing tasks, a strong sense of professionalism, and demonstrate a solid work ethic.
