Description:
The Office of Representative Val Hoyle is hiring a Press Intern to work in her Washington, D.C. office.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with front office and administrative operations; Compiling daily news clips; Assisting in drafting press releases and other written materials; Assisting in drafting social media content, including creating graphics and editing video content; Helping to maintain press lists; Clipping committee remarks and cable hits; Answering phones; and, Leading tours of the U.S. Capitol.
Qualifications:
A strong interest in political communications and strong writing skills. Previous video editing and graphic creation experience is essential.
