Conservative Republican Senator is seeking candidates for the Legislative Director position in the office. This position serves as the Senator’s top policy advisor and manages the office’s legislative team and strategy. This is a senior staff position for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the Senate legislative process and the ability to work closely with the administration, leadership, and committee staff. The ideal candidate will be a strong manager, organized, and a trusted advisor who can translate the Senator’s priorities into effective legislative outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the legislative team, setting priorities and ensuring coordination across the portfolios Serve as the Senator’s principal legislative and policy advisor Develop and execute the Senator’s legislative strategy in coordination with leadership, committees, and the Administration Track floor activity, hearings, and negotiations to ensure the office is positioned proactively Ensure the legislative team remains organized, disciplined, and aligned with the Senator’s goals Provide strategic guidance on policy development, messaging, and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications: Strong understanding of the Senate legislative process Experience working with or alongside the Administration Proven ability to manage staff and drive results under pressure Excellent judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail Prior Senate experience is not required but highly recommended.
