Description:
The Office of Congressman Jamie Raskin (MD-08) seeks a Staff Assistant/Driver to work in the Washington, D.C. office in a full-time, in-person capacity.
Responsibilities:
Driving and assisting the Member in daily tasks, answering phone calls and greeting visitors, managing and organizing the reception area and Member's office, helping to manage and train interns, onboarding new staff, processing event, tour and flag requests, maintaining office inventories, sorting incoming constituent mail, and providing varied administrative support to the team.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must be a motivated self-starter and team player who demonstrates scrupulous attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, keen organizational skills, effective time management, and a professional and discreet demeanor.
