Description:
Congressman Gregory Meeks seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional Staff Assistant/Legislative Correspondent to join his Washington, DC team.
Responsibilities:
Managing the front office, answering the DC office phones, operating the DC office internship program, coordinating constituents’ tour and flag requests, managing our constituent mail program, planning and drafting legislative correspondence, and handling additional administrative duties of the office as assigned.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication skills, highly organized and a motivated self-starter, and a strong commitment to public service.
